Basic Features

The "Play" tool plays the current startup sound. This not only shows you that the startup sound was effectively changed, but it lets you hear it to ensure that you like how it sounds. Click the button and it will play the sound.

The last feature is "Replace." This replaces the sound what the original startup sound, which can be good if you either don't like the new startup sound or if you're getting tired of it. Just like all the other features, simply click the button and it will change the sound.

File Restrictions

Startup Sound Changer only accepts WAV files. While some people might dislike this as WAV files aren't as common as MP4, there is a big advantage to this. WAV files sound better in general because they aren't compressed like MP4 files. This ensures that the sound is as good as possible. Not only that, but there are many programs that can convert MP4 and other audio files to WAV.
